I wanted to share a custom table setting that I just finished before shipping it out to my customer. She was interested in one of my most popular placemats made in
Michael Miller French Journal fabric and coordinating napkins. I suggested that the napkins could be made in either of the French Journal fabrics or maybe in a solid yellow. But she thought that an antique script or postcard fabric might suit her taste better. I LOVED that idea since script and postmarks feature prominently in the French Journal fabric, and I hoped that I would be able to find something that would coordinate.
Here is what we came up with:

I am amazed by how well the script fabric coordinates with the French Journal. It is almost as if they come from the same fabric collection!

Close up of the script - I have tried to read it, but couldn't make anything out! |
I am definitely going to add these to my shop when I get the chance. I think that they really make a nice, unique table setting and compliment the French Journal fabric so well.
Arianne, I love how they turned out! Working with you was such a breeze. Thank you so much for the custom set, we can't wait to have them on our table.
